One week in Salo'

My wife and I spent a fabulous week this summer at the Residence La Palazzina in Salò. We were staying in one of the beautifully furnished self-catering apartments which had excellent facilities including a microwave and satellite TV.
They even provide bedding and towels so we saved room in our suitcases.


The residence at lake Garda dates back to the 17th century and only has 8 apartments so the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing and each apartment feels spacious and homely. Each apartment has its own parking space so it was never difficult to find a spot. This meant that we could easily hire a car and get out and about in the local area and we are so glad that we did as there is plenty to see and do in Lake Garda.


However when we were not visiting local attractions we enjoyed relaxing around the beautiful outdoor pool enjoying the spectacular views over the lake and the town. The residence is situated in a huge natural park so the property was surrounded by trees, olive groves and vineyards. We truly enjoyed a pleasurable and relaxing break and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Residence Palazzina to all our friends.
