A holiday in a tent camping

Lately we've been looking at camping villages, which seemed like a nice step up from the more traditional camping approach of roughing it in the wilderness. We decided to go for Fornella, a camping village next to Lake Garda in Italy, and we do not regret it.

The village turned out to have everything a camper could hope for. With a swimming pool and restaurant we were never far from civilisation even while we got to enjoy the untamed feel of spending a night under the stars.

We had a lot to keep us occupied during our stay - an important thing, as anybody who has camped in the wild can find that they are lacking things to do with their time. That will never be a problem at Fornella, where you are free to go shopping, eat out or take a dip in the pool any time during the day. Even the bathrooms are kept in pristine condition!

All in all, it was a great place for a quickcamping trip and we would definitely consider heading to Lake Garda again in the future.
